The Ferreira family has been cultivating coffee in Alta Mogiana since 5 generations. Claudio received some land from his father, including Fazenda Guanabara. Vanessa and Rafael are full-time farm employees, responsible for the commercial and agronomic sectors, respectively. They have been producing standard quality coffee for decades. Then they decided to create a sustainable and high-quality coffee production. As a result, beginning in 2018, they began investing in technology and techniques to improve cup quality and product uniformity. They constructed African beds, installed an irrigation system, and concentrated on a single coffee variety. This micro lot is an example of a successful investment: it was handpicked and inspected, separated by size, then processed as a pulped natural, with the beans drying for days. Certified by UTZ.
