Asocalm is a cooperative of 29 women coffee producers established in Morales, Cauca, South-Wet Colombia. The associates attend training sessions to improve agronomic techniques and post-harvest operations. Castillo, Colombia, and Caturra plants thrive in full sunlight. Cherries are dried naturally under the sun on raised african beds for days. When they obtain premiums for their coffees, they reinvest the additional money in organic fertilisers and machines that can be shared among them.
